You’ve probably heard about Charlie. Well, this is him. The feisty, little furball we took in from the wet market. He came into our lives when he was a mere three-weeks old. Charlie grew up fast in my little apartment and began to show utmost playfulness whenever he got the chance to. Charlie was the kind of kitten who’d play rough by biting (in fact, we named him after this famous brother). He’d always anticipate for N to come for a visit because the guy was about the only person who could stand his outrageous clawing and biting. The two got along fabulously and they became playmates.
However, ever since the wedding, both N and I had been so busy with this business called life that we regrettably forgot to take a break and have fun with the little guy. So we vowed to play with Charlie a few times in a week before we go to bed. Last night we began our fun and for the longest time, our furball was excited. The more he got to bite our hands, the more excited he’d get. His ears would be drawn all the way to the back and he’d funnily ‘growl’ with his tails swishing back and forth.
Here he finally caught the hand! He’d never let it go, that's for sure. Don’t you think he looks like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon or a tad bit like a flutist in this pose? No matter how hard he bites (especially our legs when we’re actually walking!), Charlie remains lovable and adorable in our eyes. The only explanation we have for now is that we’re spellbound by his large-eye cuteness.
So if you do own a cat, perhaps you may want to spend some time wrestling it up with the furry pants, too. A play session a day will definitely make the feline less lethargic and as happy as a clam. Their frisky antics will make you joyous as well, especially after a long hard day at work. You can go wild like we do by teasing Charlie with our hands or get a toy (or even a clean duster does the trick sometimes) to attract their attention. It’s great fun to roll about in their game.
